President – Tanvi Rajan

My name is Tanvi Rajan and I am majoring in Management Information Systems. In 2025, my goals goals for MISA are to provide members with meaningful professional development opportunities in the Information Systems space and connect MISA members to industry professionals. I am so excited to lead MISA to achieve those goals this year! Outside of academics, I am also involved in THON Dancer Relations, the Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society, and Empowering Women in Law club. Some of my interests are travel, cooking, and watching movies.
Vice President – Om Dobariya

Hey, I’m Om – how short is that name? I’m a Junior from India, majoring in Management Information Systems and minoring in Information Sciences and Technology. This year, as a Secretary, I want to work on professional workshops focusing on providing technical skills, connecting our members to recruiters, and communicating with them about important upcoming events, resources, opportunities, and trends through the MISA Newsletter. Beside MISA, I am a Resident Assistant for East Housing Area, a Secretary for Penn State Ascend, a Student Manager at Penn State Commons Desk Operations, and a Teaching Assistant for BiSci 3 – I know it’s a lot.
Treasurer – William Droz
Hi! My name is William Droz, and I am a junior majoring in Management Information systems with a minor in International Business. Within MISA, I analyze financial data to optimize the club’s budget and ensure cost-effective resource allocation for events. I am also involved in the International Business Association. Outside of academic and extracurricular activities, I work part-time as a Technical Service Storeroom worker. In my free time I enjoy staying active, connecting with friends, and exploring my interests in business and technology.


Secretary – Aryan Butail
Hi! My name is Aryan, and I’m a third-year student majoring in Management Information Systems at the Smeal College of Business. Over the past three years at Penn State, I’ve been
fortunate to be involved in various organizations, including TEDxPSU, where I currently serve as the Director of Marketing. Within MISA, I am excited to take on the role of Secretary this year. As Secretary, my goal is to organize professional workshops focused on building technical skills and connecting our members with recruiters. I also aim to keep our members informed about important upcoming events, resources, opportunities, and trends through the MISA Newsletter.
Beyond MISA, I am a Resident Assistant at Penn State, which allows me to engage with the campus community in meaningful ways.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends, exploring new places, and
meeting new people. These experiences inspire me to continue growing both personally and
professionally!
Director of Involvement – Sophie Halsey

Hi! I’m Sophie Halsey, a Management Information Systems major with a Minor in International Business. As the Director of Involvement for MISA, I aim to increase membership engagement by attracting new members and ensuring active participation in meetings and events. I focus on enhancing MISA’s social media presence and collaborating with faculty, Smeal College of Business, and other student organizations to promote events and initiatives. Outside of MISA, I am involved Club Cheerleading and Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. In my free time, I enjoy fitness, reading, and spending time with friends.
Web Manager – Kaitlyn Nguyen
Hey my name is Kaitlyn Nguyen and I am a sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems. My role is to manage the website as well as keep the events pages up to date. My hopes for MISA this year are to host more workshops to build and refine technical skills. Outside of MISA I on a THON Public Relations committee. I also like to run, hike, and take photos!
